Our Mission

The Sierra Leone Custom Brokers Union (SLCBU) is the premier professional association representing licensed customs brokers across Sierra Leone. Founded in 2020, we are dedicated to advancing the customs brokerage profession while contributing to Sierra Leone's economic development and international trade growth.

Our aim is to advocate for fair trade policies to enhance trade facilitation so that we can improve on the trade across border indicator in Doing Business Reforms. We work closely with the National Revenue Authority (NRA) and other government agencies to maintain the highest standards of professional excellence.

Established in 2020, the Sierra Leone Custom Brokers Union has grown from a small group of dedicated professionals to the premier organization representing over 150 licensed customs brokers nationwide.

Mr. Mohamed Anthony Salia has over 20 years of experience in customs brokerage and has been instrumental in shaping the association's growth and development.
